How to Change MT5 Password via Desktop Terminal

This article details the steps necessary to reset your trading account password using the MT5 desktop application.  To complete a password reset using this option, you must know what your current password is.  If you do not know your current password, please reset your password via the website.

1. In the desktop version of the MetaTrader 5 terminal, go to Tools>Options or press Ctrl+O
   
2. In the Options window, select the Server tab, then click on the Change button.  Proceed to change your password for your master or investor password and click OK
